Thank you for supporting Blues Music, Our Member Musicians & Our Sponsors

Blues In July

Attention Blues fans. There are some great musical events happening during the month of June. The first is a show by the band known as the “Blues Dogs.” All four members of the band are in our Blues Society. They will be performing at the Main St Station. This is a Blues Society sponsored event called “Brews & Blues” which will take place this Thursday, July 12th,  7 – 10PM. This will be a show you do not want to miss so bring yourself and friends and we'll see you there. Admission is free with great BEER SPECIALS & FOOD SPECIALS.

Speaking of the Blues, a great blues band in our area is Anthony Wild & the Suspects. The band will be busy during the month of July. They will be playing at Hidden Treasure in Flagler Beach every Sunday starting at 1PM followed by an open jam for other musicians. Music will go to around 5PM. You can also get a Sunday Brunch and drinks. Find Anthony's other gigs on our MUSICIAN PAGE.

Another Daytona Beach Blues Society member, Joe Motte, will be running the show at Uncle Chicken’s 404 N Dixie Hwy NSB every Wednesday night. His band will start the jam with a few songs and other musicians are encouraged to come up and jam. If you haven’t been there, it is a fun spot with great food and warm fire pits. Music starts at 6PM and goes to 9PM. See all of his Concerts and Jams listed on his LINK on our MUSICIAN MEMBERS PAGE.

The list of great artists in our Society keeps growing.

Any opportunity you have to enjoy the Bridget Kelly Band should be taken advantage of.  Tim Fik throws out some of the best Guitar work on stage today.  That is correct!  You can find Bridget & TIm on our MUSICIAN MEMBERS PAGE!

Martin & The Dead Guys keep popping up around town.  Check out Martin's touring around sites by clicking his link on our MUSICIANS PAGE. Martin never seems to sit still at one spot for very long!

JW Gilmore joined the Blues Dogs onstage at our Monthly Concert at Main Street Station recently.  He even wore his Daytona Beach Blues Society T-shirt backwards so the BIG PICTURE was visible for all the photo shots. What a great night JW.  Find JW's local performances listed on his link on the Musician Page. Also, coming soon JW will be appearing at the Famous Sanford Blues Venue. "THE ALLEY"!

Reuben “Lounge Lizard” Morgan, a FANTASTIC guitar player, will be performing at a number of great Venues this month. You will find Reuben playing at Dirty Harry's, Lagerheads, the Beaver Bar & more.  Find all the showtimes & locations on Reuben's Link on our Musician Members PAGE.

Jeff Willey and his band the Smokin’ Torpedoes have a bunch of gigs in June. They are one of the busiest bands in our area. Guess what!  You can find The Torp's Shows listed on the MEMBER MUSICIAN PAGE.  Click on the really cool picture of the band.  Also watch for The Smokin' Torpedoes on the Victory Casino Cruise Ship.  Thanks Jeff for takin' The Blues to the High Seas (pun intended haha). You know you will be safe out there with the best Torpedoes on your ship (I breakin' myself up).
